l am a really good cook, but not baking. l can bake a cookie here or there, but it is nothing like my cooking.

I'd say that they're basically the same thing, but baking gets better results! I LOVE SWEETS!

I love cooking and I am a pretty good but I still have not gotten the hang of baking. Last week I made cup cakes and they turned out really good but I used a box mix and a can of frosting. On the other hand I have managed to ruin chocolate chip cookies that came from a mix.

I can cook well and I can bake OK. I enjoy cooking more because to me a meal lasts longer and the food seems to be savored and talked about more.

I Agree ! I'd rather fix a seven coarse Meal than bake from scratch ! Too many spoons/bows/pans ect. Ill take a nice Dinner to fix ANYDAY !

I like and do both. However, if forced to choose I would have to go with cooking. When you cook, you can add a little more of this or take out a little of that and it wo not mess up the meal. When you bake, you pretty much have to stick to the exact measurements and instructions..or else!
